Felix Madrid Jr. - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Felix "Jumbo" Madrid on Monday, February 3, 2025. Jumbo, which is the name family and friends called him, was born on October 25, 1971 in Santa Rosa, CA. He grew up in Modesto, CA but as we all know he strongly repped living in Windsor, CA. He was a man of many words and if he had love for you, you definitely knew it. He was always the life of the party, quick to crack jokes but would defend his friends, family and where he was from to the fullest. Anyone that crossed paths with Jumbo would soon find themselves considered family. That is how much love he gave to those who he considered close. Felix "Jumbo" Madrid is survived by his 3 children - Christopher, Eliot and Santiago. His sister Barbara (Jose) Madrid Banuelos, who was more than a sister but a mother figure, the love he had for her was endless. His little brother Johnny Madrid who was his best friend and someone he held very close. Numerous nieces and nephews, who love him and he loved beyond words. He was preceded in death by his parents Felix and Idalia Madrid and grandparents, who he loved tremendously. Anyone that knew Jumbo also knew his love for sports! A die hard Dallas Cowboys fan, one of the most memorable times for him was walking on that field with his little brother. He had love for the Los Angeles Lakers and these two teams is where he made his greatest memories with family and friends. He loved and knew music, always ready for a good gig or two and loved his old cars. You would probably bump into him at the crack of dawn at a garage sale finding a good bargain or hidden treasures such as records or antique car parts. He would even travel far to a good swapmeet to see what he could find. He loved barbecuing and just hanging out with friends and family. We will remember him for so many things that I could continue listing but the love that surrounded him and he gave back is really who he was and how we will all remember him. His presence will be truly missed. A visitation will be held between 4-7pm on Thursday, Feb. 13th at the Windsor Healdsburg Mortuary Chapel, 9660 Old Redwood Hwy, Windsor. The Funeral Mass will begin at 12:pm on Friday, Feb 14th, also at Windsor Healdsburg Mortuary Chapel, with a celebration of life to follow at the Windsor Grange Hall. 9161 Starr Rd, Windsor, CA 95492.
