Teresa Reyes

On the morning of May 6th, 2025, Teresa Reyes passed surrounded by her children in Santa Rosa, California after a long battle with cancer. Teresa was born September 17th, 1936 to parents Francisco and Maria Perez in Romita, Guanajuato. She grew up in Mexico City, the youngest sister to Francisco and Antonia, and moved to the United States in the early 60s where she met her beloved husband, Raul Reyes in Santa Rosa. Together they raised three beautiful children, two daughters, Patricia and Elizabeth, and a son, Raul Jr. She touched many lives with her kindness and generosity and was considered a mother figure in her community, loved and adored by all that met her. She is survived by her three children, five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren and joins her husband, Raul, in the afterlife. The viewing will take place at Windsor Healdsburg Mortuary and Crematory on Monday, May 12th from 4-7pm and the funeral will take place on Tuesday, May 13th at The Resurrection Roman Catholic Parish in Santa Rosa at 12pm with a burial to follow at The Calvary Catholic Cemetery. En Español Por la mañana del 6 de mayo de 2025, Teresa Reyes falleció rodeada de sus hijos en Santa Rosa, California, tras una larga lucha contra el cáncer. Teresa nació el 17 de septiembre en 1936, hija de Francisco y María Pérez, en Romita, Guanajuato. Ella creció en la Ciudad de México, siendo la hermana menor de Francisco y Antonia. Fue después que se mudó a Estados Unidos, a principio de los años 60s.Ahi fue donde conoció a su amado esposo, Raúl Reyes, en la ciudad de Santa Rosa. Juntos criaron a tres hermosos hijos: dos hijas, Patricia y Elizabeth, y un hijo, Raúl Jr. Ella conmovió a muchas personas con su bondad y generosidad y fue considerada una figura materna en su comunidad, donde ella fue querida y adorada por todos los que la conocieron. Ella deja a sus tres hijos, cinco nietos y cuatro bisnietos, y se unirá a su esposo, Raúl, en la vida después de muerte. El velatorio se llevará a cabo en Windsor Healdsburg Mortuary and Crematory el lunes 12 de mayo de 4 a 7 p. m. y el funeral se llevará a cabo el martes 13 de mayo en The Resurrection Roman Catholic Parish en Santa Rosa a las 12 p. m.
